Stepped out of the studio today to make the most out of one of the most beautiful days in Stockholm so far!
So we (courtesy of Captain Harry), took a sailing yacht and cruised from Ingarö to Sandhamn. We had pretty awesome weather conditions: great blue sky, loads of sun and great wind-speed!
4 Hours after setting off, we arrived at Sandhamn to find that we weren’t the only ones with this bright idea: the was a big trendy queue of boats trying to find some parking. All good. We found a rad little get-away spot ’round a neighbouring island where we could park off and make some lunch.
Getting back seemed a lot quicker (and bumpier) than the first trip. What a beautiful experience – Swedish summer at it’s best!
Now back in the studio putting together a new cheeky little track. With slightly browner skin to go with it! C ya!!

Back in Stockholm after three, so to say, electrifying shows at Stockholmsveckan in Visby last week! On the evening of our arrival an insane thunderstorm stroke the island of Gotland. The whole island turned black – pitch black. This was the beginning of an amazing three day long adventure in Visby where we held our EP launch at the Visby Beach Club, were interviewed in the local newspaper and made an exclusive acoustic performance of ‘It’s All Good’ on Radio Gotland. It’s all good y’all!

0:00 Laurence arrives from London. We get our boat to Gotland at 7:30 and finally arrive in Gotland! The gig was awesome – thanks to everyone there! Afterwards there was an insane thunderstorm and the electricity has been out all night since. But we haven’t slept in over 36hours so the story will be continued next time… Good night :)

Getting sorted. To paraphrase one of my favourite electronic acts, Lark, my tidying up from the other day has created a little cradle of cable for myself!
Well, time to wake these babies up and bring the machines to life for a little partay – as it were.
Big week this week: 3 dates at Visby during stockholmsveckan and digital EP launch on Friday & Saturday – PLUS we’re streaming live on Friday. All very technical. But I fear not, A/V wizard Laurence Chiappini will be down from London tomorrow night.
Right, back to the wiring…

Good morning (possibly afternoon)! It’s a beautiful day, lots to do, rehearsals, shopping, gotta stick a screw into my spanish guitar so the strap will hold (which involves drilling a whole in the guitar – hmmm).
Oh, yeah just won 25 Kronor on a Swedish scratch-card! Awesome. Might just add Dr Alban as a friend on Facebook for the hell of it… See you later!
So… first entry in the blog! This is where we’re putting all the random stuff. So…. next week we’re going off to Gotland in Sweden to play a few shows, launch a digital album and have a party. This weekend’s all about preparation and as I write this I’ve also got a million other things going on, so I’ll make it short – and with pictures :)

mark & fride... that's us... hi.

Sick looking boat that's going to take us to Gotland on a 3-hour journey to...

...here. Gotland is a biggish island off the East coast of Sweden
Stay tuned for more on the album, etc.
